john g. roberts

So get used to this guy's face, you'll be seeing a lot of it in the months to come, and quite possibly for decades. The way things seem to be shaping up he's looking like a pretty shrewd choice. Conservative enough that he might just veto Roe vs. Wade, but not quite conservative enough to provoke a great deal of conflict during the confirmation process. If you're interested in reading more about him check out dailykos.org, they've posted a pdf from the Alliance for Justice which was released in in opposition to his previous nomination to the DC Circuit of the Court of Appeals, it outlines decisions on a number of cases. Also Talkleft has additional information about his history. This is just the beginning.
